MBF Audiovisual is the outcome of a
lifetime of experience. John R. Hardwick has worked in the audio
industry in one aspect or another all of his adult life. During
high school, John was the kid who all the teachers called to run the
film projector or hook up the PA.
Spending ten years in the US Navy as an
Interior Communications Electrician, learning electronics and getting
experience in Radio and Television station maintenance, provided an
ideal learning ground.
Further refinements to John's experience
came at Dimensional Communications. Dimensional's core business
is K-12 school infrastructure, as well as telecommunications
infrastructure & equipment, and Large Venue, computer-controlled sound
systems.
At Proline Industries John provided
organization in building their contracting department. Proline
needed to install a computer network and build the infrastructure
necessary to support a multi-million dollar contracting and sales
company. The focus of Proline's contracting arm was municipal
television and higher education.
Always looking for ways to grow and learn
new skills, John took a position with AEI Music in Seattle, WA.
At AEI John directed a group of young engineers teaching the art of
AutoCAD and the concepts of audiovisual system design. AEI Music
produced designs for approximately 700 individual projects a month.
System designs varied in complexity from simple retail store
foreground music systems to campus-wide digital audio distribution
systems.
Finally, John has spent the last two years
in support of manufacturers like Allen & Heath, Audio Technica, Aviom,
BSS Audio, Crown Audio, DBX Professional, Eventide, Fujitsu, IED
Audio, JBL Professional, Lexicon, Omnimount, Polycom, Radio Design
Labs, Soundcraft and many others at Northshore Marketing.
